Equita actively manages and monitors operations and performance through a series of committees that meet regularly, and has the support of experienced independent Directors.
The Remuneration Committee of Equita Group S.p.A. performs advisory and investigative functions to determine the remuneration of directors holding particular offices as well as the remuneration and loyalty policies relating to its staff.
Among the many functions assigned to the Remuneration Committee, the body deals, inter alia, with:
- submitting proposals to the Board of Directors of Equita Group S.p.A. concerning the remuneration policy, flexible benefits and incentive plans based on financial instruments;
- submitting proposals or expressing opinions on the remuneration of personnel (including executive directors and other directors holding particular offices) whose remuneration and incentive systems are decided by the board of directors of Equita Group S.p.A. and/or of the companies of the group, also expressing an opinion on setting performance objectives related to the variable component of remuneration;
- collaborating with the Control and Risk Committee in particular assessing whether the incentives provided by the remuneration system take into account risks, capital and liquidity.
