Michela Zeme

Born in Mede (PV), she holds a degree in Business Administration from Università Luigi Bocconi in Milan.

Chartered Accountant and Statutory Auditor, she has significant professional experience in tax and corporate matters. Zeme is also a speaker at conferences on corporate governance and internal control systems.

She has extensive experience in corporate governance, having held positions on both management and supervisory bodies of major companies, including financial institutions and listed entities. In these roles, she has served as a member of boards of directors—also participating in board committees—as well as a member of boards of statutory auditors, including as Chair.

Over the years, she has developed specific expertise in “Administrative Liability of Entities pursuant to Italian Legislative Decree No. 231/2001,” also through her role as a member of Supervisory Bodies (Organismi di Vigilanza) of large listed companies and banking groups.

She currently serves as an Independent Director of EQUITA Group, in accordance with the criteria set out in the Corporate Governance Code of Borsa Italiana.
