Angela Gamba

Born in Palazzolo sull’Oglio (Italy), Angela Gamba graduated with honors in Political Economy from Università Bocconi in 1994.

She began her professional career in London in 1994 as an analyst in the Investment Banking division of Salomon Brothers. She subsequently developed significant experience in the Private Equity and Venture Capital sector, working until 2002 primarily in London for the divisions of Morgan Stanley and Deutsche Bank.

In 2003, she joined ION Trading (London) as Chief Financial Officer, contributing to the Group’s development through strategic acquisitions and supporting the ownership in its international expansion.

In 2007, she returned to Italy and, starting in 2010, managed a portfolio of investments in the photovoltaic sector on behalf of a UK-based investment fund, a role she held until the disposal of the assets in 2016.

Since 2016, she has been working as a family officer for a significant private estate.

Over the course of her career, she has also served as an independent director on the boards of several listed companies, including Cobra Automotive, Parmalat, and Mediobanca.

Since 2026, she has served as an Independent Director on the Board of Directors of EQUITA Group.
