Equita and Bocconi University
A successful and long-standing partnership to favour capital markets
One of Equita’s goals is to be at the forefront of analysing market changes and new trends within the financial industry. The purpose of the partnership signed with Bocconi University in 2013 is to achieve this goal by promoting debates about the market’s structural elements, development and possible solutions for the growth of capital markets for Italian companies.
The revival of capital markets is key for Italy and each year Equita and Bocconi University prepare a position paper on specific financial subjects and host an important annual event where institutional and international guest speakers participate and contribute actively.
The huge amount of interest and appreciation shown over the years for the analyses performed and subjects discussed has helped to strengthen the Equita role of "opinion maker" within the financial community.
In 2019 Equita and the Bocconi University renewed their collaboration with a new four-years agreement. The new partnership has the objective of strengthening the influential role of the research conducted by Equita and Bocconi University via the creation of the “Equita Research Lab in Capital Markets”, a laboratory focusing on applied research and policy impact, raising awareness of current financial topics.

Monitor on Capital Markets in Italy
During the usual annual event hosted by Equita and Bocconi, in addition to the research paper drafted jointly with Baffi Carfin, Equita also presents its Monitor on Capital Markets in Italy.
The monitor, realised by the investment banking team of Equita, illustrates – year after year – the key growth trends on equity and bond markets in Italy, with a focus on impacts that regulatory changes have on investors and financial intermediaries.
The key purpose of the monitor is to spread the knowledge of financial markets to companies, professionals, students.
Awards for the best strategies on capital markets
Each year, with the sponsorship of Bocconi University and Borsa Italiana, Equita awards the corporates that distinguish themselves on the market for their best strategies on equity and debt capital markets.

A fruitful partnership, also in the promotion of human capital
The partnership between Equita and Bocconi also addresses the promotion of human capital and introduces a new take on Diversity: Equita, as sustaining partner of Bocconi University, will finance scholarships for deserving female students majoring in finance and Executive MBA candidates.
