EQUITA awards the students of the Brera Fine Arts Academy at the fourth edition of the “EQUITA Award for Brera”
A panel of judges from EQUITA, Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera and Editoriale Domus awarded the students of the Academy who exhibited their works at the sixth edition of “Accademia Aperta”
Milan, 9 December 2021 - EQUITA – the leading independent investment bank in Italy – renews its commitment toward education of young talented students and research in artistic disciplines of the Brera Fine Arts Academy with the fourth edition of the “EQUITA Award for Brera”.

The sixth edition of Accademia Aperta, the event sponsored by EQUITA and that every year open Brera’s palace and venues to visitors and artists, this year took place in a “phygital” format: the works of the art students of the Brera Fine arts Academy were displayed in the spaces of the former church of San Carpoforo in Milan and, in parallel, the exhibition become a virtual and immersive journey that could be enjoyed online from any device by visiting a dedicated webpage.
Continuing its tradition, EQUITA has awarded the best artworks that participated to the Accademia Aperta exhibition. A panel of judges from EQUITA, Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera and Editoriale Domus, selected three artworks from a shortlist submitted by the Academy. The winning artworks for the 2021 edition of the EQUITA Award for Brera are:
- Rachele Cicerchia - Parliamo?
- Giulia Federico - La Rinascita
- Pietro Guglielmin - Vero e Falso
In addition to the winners, students Noemi Balu, Yingfei Cai, Erika Godino, Simone Macciocchi and Francesca Tarantino we mentioned by the jury for their impressive works.
The winning paintings and illustrations will be purchased by EQUITA and permanently exhibited at the EQUITA premises in Milan, Via Turati 9, extending the private collection of EQUITA build up over the years with the artworks awarded during the previous editions of the EQUITA Award for Brera.
EQUITA has also renewed its commitment to young students and artistic disciplines: the investment bank will sponsor scholarships for merit and subsidies dedicated to students and research assistants.
