Equita assisted Generali as Financial Advisor with the cash voluntary public tender offer on Cattolica Assicurazioni shares
Milan, 4 November 2021 – Generali – one of the leading, global players in the insurance and asset management industry – announced that its cash voluntary public tender offer on Cattolica Assicurazioni shares was successfully completed within the terms and conditions announced.
Approximately 61% of the share capital of Cattolica Assicurazioni has been tendered to the offer, corresponding to approximately 79.7% of the shares subject of the offer.
Considering the shares already owned by the offeror (equal to 23.7% of the issuer’s share capital) and the shares tendered to the offer, Generali Group’s stake in Cattolica Assicurazioni will increase to approximately 84.5%.
